Organized to promote an ideal business environment by maintaining and enhancing a support network to improve communication between businesses, and to provide a forum for concerns and projects that will promote the community as an ideal place to live, work, and visit. We will offer a variety of family-oriented events such as health fairs, bicycle rodeos for the children, sidewalk sales, BBQs, free concerts, holiday strolls, cookie decorating for the children, open houses at local businesses, antique car parades, festivals and arts/crafts fairs, fireworks, ceremonial bon fires, chalk art contests, sand sculpture contests, community clean-up days, parades, pie contests, arts/cultural weekends, and much, much more. We want to Promote Dennis as an enjoyable place to live, work, and play, as well as a fun place for our guests and tourists to visit. Featured Member

There will be fireworks in Dennis during the Dennis Summerfest, August 20, 2011. (The rain date will be August 21st.) From West Dennis Beach. Also, the proud owners of pre-1976 vehicles, will be parading the streets of Dennis on August 21, 2011 for the 53rd ANTIQUE CAR MOTORCADE. Yes, the Dennis Small Business Association is now hosting the longest running, antique car parade in Dennis. Ending at new location: Nathaniel H. Wixon Middle School, Rte 134, South Dennis. Because of renovations at the Ezra H. Baker School, the Dennis Summerfest Craft Fair is being held at the Nathaniel H. Wixon Middle School, 901 Route 134, South Dennis this year. Also, the Restaurant Root Beer Races will be held at Wixon at 1PM. Come cheer on your favorite restaurant staff and see which restaurant will be going home with the trophy. The Antique Cars will be displayed at Wixon from Approx. 1-3 PM. CHIPS identification will be provided by the MASONS Lodge, S. Dennis. Refreshments available. Percy’s Ice Cream Parlor will be there again this year. |
